Infection Control (Half day course)
Candidates will understand the importance of why infection control measures are needed in the workplace. In addition to this candidates will be able to demonstrate and explain good hygiene techniques along with having an understanding of maintaining a clean environment.

An Introduction to the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty (Half day course)
The Mental Capacity Act (MCA) came into force in 2007 and was designed to strengthen the protection of vulnerable adults. This workshop provides background to the MCA and its relationship to DoLS and how those working in the care sector can ensure compliance whilst carrying out their role. Candidates will also gain an understanding of how to maintain the best interests of those they care for who may or may not be able to give consent.

Safeguarding (Half day course)
This workshop, designed for care and support staff will raise awareness of the importance of Safeguarding Vulnerable People. Candidates completing the course will be in a better position to implement their company adult protection policy and the procedures they should follow.

Introduction to Manual Handling and Patient Handling (Half day course)
This course serves as an introduction to the hazards and risks involved in manual handling and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment. It enables candidates to develop safer manual handling techniques in the workplace and to actively participate in the assessment process.

Fire Awareness (Half day course)
Fire Safety training for staff is a legal requirement. We aim to support you to meet your obligations with an introduction to fire safety.

Basic Food Safety (Half day course)
Food safety training is essential for any food business that aims to create and encourage a food safety culture. It is a legal requirement for staff involved in food handling to be adequately trained and supervised in line with their work activity.

Health and Safety Awareness (Half day course)

Safe handling of Medicines (Half day course)
This course aims to provide the candidate with a thorough understanding of the principles and practices of working with medicines. On completion of the workshop your staff will be familiar with the correct procedures for the safe receipt, administration, handling and disposal of medicines.
